2009 Update: Raffle grand prize is a 12.2 gal conical fermenter! Speakers confirmed include Jamil Zainasheff & John Palmer on German brewing, Terence Sullivan of Sierra Nevada, & Don Barkley, NapaSmith Brewing and once, New Albion & Mendocino.
2008 Speakers topics included beer evaluation and water chemistry.
There was also an all star panel that discussed the aroma and taste profiles of various sour beers.

Beer Competition
In keeping with this year's theme, the annual NCHF keg competition will feature two styles:
Koelsch
Altbier
Clubs can enter their beer in the competition up to 11 AM on Saturday. Judging is by popular vote, open to all festival participants, begins at noon, and finishes around 4 PM. There will also be a panel of judges to decide best of show among the winners of the two styles.
A club can enter 1 beer in each category. Corny KEGS ONLY - CO2, tap and Cooling vessel must be submitted with entry, sorry no exceptions.
