General Rules and Disclaimers
The Northern California Homebrewers’ Festival is a private event and is not open to the general public. All attendees of the Festival must have a homebrew club affiliation with an AHA-registered club, which will be confirmed upon online registration for the Festival. No sales of beer or any other alcoholic beverage, whether for money or value, will be allowed at any time during the Festival, and any violation of this rule will be grounds for immediate expulsion from the Festival and premises. The Festival is not affiliated in any way with the Lake Francis RV Resort, and will comply with all applicable provisions of the Alcoholic Beverage Control Act of the State of California at all times.
Participation in this Festival is entirely voluntary. Guests know that participation in festival activities involves the consumption of alcoholic beverages and this may affect their perceptions and reactions. Guests shall accept responsibility for their conduct, behavior and actions and absolve the Northern California Homebrewers Organization of any and all responsibility for their conduct, behavior and actions. Participation includes any guests that may be present at organization activities, wherever they may be held.
Both Festival and Non-festival goers will receive a wrist band (different colors). The wrist band must be worn and visible at all times. Lake Francis staff may question you if you are not wearing your wrist band. There is no replacement for lost wrist bands.
Children and Non-Fest Campers
General Campers are allowed in the festival area, but will not be served alcohol. Children are NOT allowed on the festival grounds during the festival on Saturday. This includes the grass areas directly behind club booths. A parent or guardian MUST supervise children; they are NOT to be left unattended. Lake Francis Resort and NCHF will NOT be providing any form of childcare. The Resort demands all children be Directly supervised in ALL areas of the resort. Parents are solely responsible for their children and their actions. Everyone is responsible for enforcing these rules.
Each person over the age of 2, whether they will be attending the actual Homebrewers’ Festival or not, must be registered and pay for camping. The NCHF organization is required to pay Lake Francis for each person attending. To consume alcohol, you must 21 years old or older and present proof of age if asked. It is NCHO policy that everyone attending the festival must pay for camping. There are no exceptions.
The dinner is not a standalone event. In order to attend the dinner, you must purchase a festival or camping admission.
Although dogs are permitted in Lake Francis Resort, there are NO DOGS ALLOWED at Hoppy Hour or at the festival on Saturday. The lake, campgrounds, etc. are OK as per Lake Francis’ pet policy.
Commemorative items must be picked up at the festival, we do not ship.
